Beaulieu Rugs
Beaulieu of America was founded in 1978 by Carl and Mieke Bouckaert. The company was first to produce affordable polypropylene Beaulieu rugs. Few years later, Beaulieu started to produce its own fiber - extruding polypropylene. Since mid 80s, Beaulieu has been diversifying its manufacturing operations, so the company is getting bigger and bigger.
Now the corporation consists of several companies acquired before, such as Conquest and Interloom. In 2000, Beaulieu corporation launched its new marketing strategy of licensing brands for its floor covering products. Beaulieu rugs patterns range from traditional to contemporary with several very formal looks.
The rugs are available in a high variety of sizes. Retail prices on Beaulieu rugs range from 400 to 1400 dollars. Beaulieu corporation is now extending its assortment of hand-made and hand-tufted Beaulieu rugs. Now twenty different patterns of hand-made wool rugs are available in the collection.
