Most rugs are imported from such countries as Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Turkey and China. Imported rugs are supplied in a high variety of colours, shapes and quality. Imported rugs can be weaved of natural materials and dyes as well as of synthetic ones. In addition imported rugs can be both hand-made and factory-made.
Don’t underestimate the latter – factory-made rugs gain by geometric characteristics, while hand-made rugs are squared less properly. Also note that synthetic dyes last much longer than natural ones. By right Iran is considered to be homeland of the most wonderful rugs in the world.
Iran imported rugs are synonyms for ultimate quality, durability, comfort and beauty. Iran exports its carpets to many countries all over the world. In fact, most of other imported rugs are just faded copies of Persian rugs. Also you may find a quantity of so-called ethnic imported rugs.
